[Much dialogue was borrowed from Smallville, and timelines have been played with in order to deal with the fact that this took me so long to finish. *facepalm* Contains spoilers for the current season of Smallville, not that anyone else watches 'cause y'all are smart...ahem. OOC comments are like pie. *g*]
It was a slow news day. Chloe hated slow news days, because she always ended up bored, and today was no exception. While lounging beside her computer, she realized that it had been way too long since she'd e-mailed Jake and Krycek.

It wasn't until she started typing that she remembered how her attitude shifted when she sent e-mails these days.

Chloe really needs to get a LiveJournal for this kind of bitchery. )

Chloe sat back and looked over what she'd typed. She got about halfway through the message before selecting and deleting the entire thing. Jake and Krycek definitely didn't need to see all of that, not unless she wanted them to make her take a head start towards her future in the psycho ward. After clearing the screen, she changed the recipient list, and started again.

Now with 98% less emo! )

[If you knew Chloe at all while she was at school, feel free to assume you got the e-mail. It's a pretty broad list, because I said so. *g*]

The Daily Planet, Late Tuesday Evening

  • Oct. 3rd, 2006 at 11:52 PM
"Hey there, pretty lady. Aren't you here awfully late?"

Chloe turned around from her computer, and gave Jimmy Olsen a bemused look. She was having enough trouble trying to find her place with her new internship at The Daily Planet - having Jimmy around the office just made things even more complicated. All she needed was for Clark to suddenly decide that he wanted to be a reporter, and the triangle of awkwardness would be complete.

All the newspapers in all the world, and Jimmy had to come back to work at hers. Of course, if it got her called "pretty lady" more often, Chloe supposed she couldn't complain too much. )

[Not open for interaction due to time and space, woe! Just establishy.]
